CHAPTER 8: EXCISION APPLICATION INDEMNITY CLAUSE

1. No one can tell when a land awaiting excision will get it. It depends on the excision committed and the government itself. There are different factors to look into. What you can find out however,  is the stage which the excision has gotten to,  by searching the excision file at the Lands registry. 2. Yes it is possible for it to be turned down.  For instance,  a village may apply for excision for 200 hectares and they'll  only be given 70. What they can do however is to Continue to apply until they get the quantity they need. 3. In the event the excision is turned Down,  the seller(company) might either refund the client or relocate them to another land;  that is if they were earlier indemnified. The indemnity clause in the contract of sale implies that the buyer will get a refund if any problem happens with the land.
